Botanical Gardens

To get to the botanical gardens, we took a bus to Georgetown and then decided to get on a trishaw - like a rickshaw (if that helps)...it's basically a bike with a little cart thing attached that you sit on. Our driver was crazy and when the road we needed was closed, he decided it was a good plan to drive onto the opposite side of the street and go that way. So we're in this little cart attached to a bike, peddaling into oncoming traffic which consists of many many cars, motorbikes, buses, and the occassional truck. Caitlyn and I screamed that we were going to die, and busted out our cameras to document. We did manage to make it to the gardens alive! It was a nice place to walk around but not much is blooming so it wasn't terribly impressive. On the way out, some family decided it was a good plan to feed the monkeys bread, so dozens (literally) of monkeys ran out from the trees and started freaking out and eating and fighting and running all over, and one tried to chase Caitlyn. We were amused for a short time but decided it was probably best to get away before more chaos ensued, and proceeded to our next destination.
