Girls weekend in KL

I and 5 other girls took a weekend trip to Kuala Lumpur to see the city and hang out and enjoy each other's company. It was my first time in KL and I was not too impressed. The towers I actually really liked, and they look amazing lit up. However, there is not much to do in the city except shop and the rest of the architecture is not that interesting. Nevertheless, it was a good weekend because of the company!

We basically spent the afternoons wandering around the city and shopping a lot for Halloween costumes and clothes. It rained every afternoon at 3pm so we had to stay inside. In the evenings we had nice dinners and a few drinks. The second night, we accidentally ended up in the lounge of a hotel where we met a 25yr old Australian man with too much money and no idea how to spend it. He is from a rich family and is in KL investing in hotels, not compeltely legally. He was nice though and we had a good conversation, plus he bought us several nice bottles of wine to share. It definitely turned into an interesting (and free!) evening. (And not as sketchy as this story may make it sound!)
